New sites

So I was lucky enough to have two new websites deigned for me so please check them (and my girlfriend's mad web skills) out:

pink pandas

There's something sweet, yet disturbing, about this image.....it's the first of a set along a similar theme which I'll be selling (some originals/some prints) at the Luminaire in London on 3rd of August.

The event is the Stars of Sunday League EP launch. I was fortunate enough to be able to contribute my art to the EP and it should be a great night.

Portraits

Here are a couple of portraits of a few amazing artists, I'm new to this stuff but pretty happy with them.

Rabbit Skull

A new design I've been working on and intend to print very big on some tee shirts. It wouldn't be summer without a skull of rabbits.

Leopard

I've been working on this design for the St. Andrews Trust. They do a lot of charity work in Malawi and they've asked me to come up with a tee shirt design which they could sell to help raise some money to fund their good deeds. There'll be more on this as is progresses.

Wales/Scotland

An illustration I've been working on for a magazine. The article has a Welsh/Scottish theme and this is my representation of those two nations in heraldic style.

Placid Flamingo

My good friend Steve is in the process of setting up a band tour/promotion company called Placid Flamingo and he asked me to come up with a couple of logos for him.

Percolator Magazine

Another work-in-progress, this time it's a logo commission for Percolator Magazine.

Here's a work in progress pic of a potential new tee design.

I'm hoping to get a few tees printed and up on the greentees site very soon, other work has been a bit hectic recently (which is good, obviously).

Skeletree (two)

I've made a little more progress by adding colour to this. It's really just a matter of getting an idea of what I'm going to do with it. It'll probably end up on some form of clothing or other and maybe as posters.

Sparra'

This started as a work for an ep cover I'm in the process of designing but it looks like it won't be getting used in that project.

I like it though...this style is helping me experiment with subtle colour and I'm hoping gives a new dimension to the 'types' of work I can do.

I was asked to do this as a comission out of the blue a couple of years ago. The initial idea is really a lot sweeter than the blasphemous art-work might suggest.

Work in progress, I've had this image in my mind for a while now and I have finally got around to drawing it. I'll be adding some colour here and there and it'll probably wind up on my next set of tees along with a few others in a similar vein.

I was asked recently to draw something edinburgh related for a potential business venture.

I started working on this and I'm really happy with how it turned out, I'll find another use for it if the initial idea does not come off.

Another work in progress, his mane will soon be home to the Spanish Armada.

I'll try to get that up later today if I get it finished.

Not sure how I'll be using this design just yet.

Octopus

Hey, happy new year......my first post of 2009 is just a little heads up. I've been printing my octopus on sweaters. This is the guys sweater and it's also been printed on baby blue with black ink for girls. I'll get some prettier people than I to model them properly and they'll be up on my site soon, I'll keep you posted.
